We teach navigation in a number of  different disciplines, from aircraft navigation to field craft to overland expedition navigation to support D of E activities. Our Cadets can learn visual and instrument navigation for aircraft, making decisions at speed and putting lots of clues together to come to a calculated decision, to fieldcraft navigation where not being found but knowing where you are is the objectives, through to D of E expeditions where navigating your team through unfamiliar terrain, maybe even abroad is the name of the game. 

Our navigation training gives Cadets confidence to understand where they are and where they need to be and how to get there. It promotes self-sufficiency, awareness and problem solving as well as team leadership and management.
